Dr. Sarah Moore

Dr. Moore is a general surgeon with a subspecialty focus in advanced laparoscopy and colorectal surgery. Originally from Nova Scotia, she earned her BSc in Chemistry at St. Francis Xavier University, her MD at the University of Toronto, and completed her general surgery residency at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Moore also completed a fellowship in colorectal surgery and a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Toronto.

Her clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), colorectal cancer, and the surgical management of hidradenitis suppurativa. Passionate about research, she is focused on fertility and maternal outcomes in IBD.

Dr. Moore is dedicated to teaching, contributing to the University of Toronto general surgery residency program. She is also the current president of the Professional Staff Association and a member of the Board of Directors at Mackenzie Health/Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital.
